In particular, I would like to discuss window tinting laws as it pertains to vehicles. Since most drivers with a tinted vehicle know very little regarding tint laws, I would like to focus on the following 4 areas among others:
1) State darkness regulations. This is the most prominent of the tint laws; if your film is too dark, there’s a good chance you’ll be stopped and cited.
2) Reflectivity standards. Most don’t know this, but some states outright ban reflective tint, while in other states it is strictly regulated.
